C&C Official Contest: Move it!

The theme

Submit 1 to 3 comic pages sequencing an action scene.
By this we mean the focus is on movement, as opposed to talk or scenery. It can mean a fight scene, dance, sports,... insert your favorite physical activity here! Some examples:

The main element the judges will consider is how you make or keep it visually exciting. For instance, an unchanging shot or camera angle will kill the energy of the scene, so you'd have to vary them while keeping the sequence legible. Comics use plenty of tricks to make such scenes exciting, look to your favorite authors and show us what you've got!

The deadline:

All entries need to be submitted by August 31 at 23:59 PST. That's two whole months.

Format and medium:

Any that is compatible with sequential art, color or black and white, portrait or landscape, traditional or digital, etc. Just be smart and don't pick something that will really limit your living up to the contest idea, such as a 3-panel strip

Where to submit:

All entries must be entered into Contests > move it
Don't note us with your submissions, just make sure to enter them in the category above and we won't miss them.

The Prizes:

All entries will be featured, and the best 3 will additionally receive:

1st place: 1 year sub + 25 deviantdollars + a commission/gift art from both ^Thiefoworld and ^Cedarseed

2nd place: 6 months sub + 20 deviantdollars

3rd place: 15 deviantdollars + a custom avatar from either of us

Welcome to another issue of the Comics & Cartoons [Almost] Daily Deviations. As part of the Team Sidekicks, I'm posting this journal in behalf of the Comics & Cartoons Moderation team.

The intention of this journals is to show you some of the suggestions that are not picked for x reason but that still deserve to be featured.

Why aren't they selected? There may be various reasons; some of them are because of personal guidelines the moderator has, but the main reason most of these awesome pieces are not selected is because not all suggestions can be picked, even if we want... but as you can see, these still deserve to be seen.

I find the simple gesture depicted here to be full of meaning, devotion, and loyalty. The fact that you cannot see the girl's face allows the audience to imagine her expression ourselves, whether it be tears of happiness, plain joyful, or whatever comes to mind first.

A simply stunning piece, the rendering is superb, incredibly detailed. What strikes me most is the first panel, his sense of lighting, shades, details and especially technique all comes so well together in that page. This is a perfect example of a great collaboration.
